About Me

I am a Sound mixer and Sound editor working for both European and US clients. I am able to understand the differences in the work ethic of crews from both sides of the Atlantic using English, Spanish and French as native languages. In 2005 I completed a BA and a Masters in Audio Technology in London, UK. In 2006, I moved to New York to pursue my passion and continue my career as a sound mixer where I worked on my first feature 'Crimson Mask'.
I have worked with some of the major US TV networks and some of the most renowned brands on the planet such as HBO+, Disney, Apple, Youtube, MTV, CNN etc. This experience has enabled me to address and resolve every possible audio issue in any world set. As part of my standard working procedure, I always ensure best practice with mic positioning, RF scanning and distribution, acoustics and psychoacoustics. I am also capable of conveying a reliable mix through IFB's to producers and directors using state of the art equipment such as Sound Devices, Lectrosonics, Sanken, Schoeps, Denecke, Zaxcom, to name a few.
I am a believer that, on set, it is imperative to complete work in the most professional and accurate way, being respectful to every crew member and talent, as well as being a humble and organized team worker. I always strive to create an Audio strategy with producers, directors and other crew members.
Every project is different and audio needs the right preparation to produce full coverage material that is spot on, enabling editors to choose from all options available for picture lock. Working as a post sound/dialogue editor has also helped me to understand how to establish TV audio standards and deliverables by continuously searching for the best possible gear and techniques when shooting.
As times have changed, a sound mixer's workflow has had to adapt accordingly. Therefore I keep all my gear sanitized after every shoot and I allow talent to mic themselves after thorough communication, to make sure that the placement has been achieved following an accurate sound check.
Five percent of my cheque is given to humanitarian causes that I offer to clients, so that we can work together in trying to make this world a better a place.
Thank You!

FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Lavs can you bring?
I can bring as many lavalieres as needed. Every project is different I have a sound devices 688 mixer along with a SL6, CL12 and a Mix Pre 6 II Recorder which my Boom operator will be using. This makes a total of 16 analogue inputs which can be time coded to the rest of the set.
Can you work in Europe and US?
Yes, I have dual nationality and I am able to provide services as a sound mixer in Europe. As a sound mixer in New York, I can also work in the United States. I have worked as a sound mixer in Spain, France and the UK. This has given me enough experience and language competence to communicate on set in English, Spanish and French. This is something that native crews always appreciate.
What's your rate?
My rate depends upon kit rental. My day rate is based upon how much equipment is required, lavs or lavalieres, booms, IFB's etc. as well as any other audio requirements. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding your project so that we can arrive at the perfect strategy and budget.
What's your experience with cameras?
I have worked with all major cameras, such as Arri, Alexa LF, Alexa Mini, Amira etc., Red cameras, Raptor and Komodo Dragon, Scarlett, Sony's Venice, FS9, FS7, FS3, and more. Having worked with these cameras has given me a natural feeling for the workflow of all cameras and has enabled me to create great scratch track levels along with timecode. This helps to speed up the process and limit the time spent around cameras as DP, Directors and AC's need adjustments to be seamless.
Can I be part of the 5 percent to humanitarian causes?
Five percent of my cheque is devoted to humanitarian causes. I like to ask clients if they want to be involved and jump on board for this journey of making this world a better place.
